Visit one of California’s most famous tide falls along this day hike through the Point Reyes National Seashore. Let the 40 foot Alamere Falls amaze you as you enjoy trails that wander through coastal forests and along a beautiful Northern California beach. Watch in awe as the water cascades down the rock, across the sand, and directly into the Pacific Ocean! For a total of 14 miles and almost 1,900 feet in elevation gain you can expect to spend at least 6 hours with an option to eat lunch on the beach at the base of the falls.

This expedition starts at the Palomarin Trailhead Parking Lot and travels along the Coast Trail, past the Wildcat Campground, and along Wildcat Beach. The hike is rated as hard due to its length, changes in elevation, and varying terrain. Moderate to advanced adventurers recommended. Attendees are responsible for all park fees and their own transportation to the trailhead or designated parking area. Optional trail lunches and snacks can be provided for an additional fee, any special dietary requests should be noted during the booking process.
