Mount tamalpais cataract falls day hike

During this day hike be prepared to wind through some beautiful coastal redwoods as the Cataract Falls cascade alongside you in this highlight of Mount Tamalpais State Park. This expedition offers California coastal views, waterfalls, and a beautiful alpine lake. At 5 miles total and almost 900 feet in elevation gain, you can expect to spend at least 3 hours with an option to eat lunch at the Mount Tamalpais Watershed upon returning.
