Embark on a day hike that puts you on the summit of Mount Tamalpais’s East Peak. Breathe in the clean coastal air as you climb to the top of the peak past a historical watchtower to reveal sweeping panoramic views of the California Coast below you! Mount Tamalpais State Park is a hidden gem just outside the city of San Francisco with miles of trails just waiting to be explored. For a total of 9 miles and nearly 1,800 feet of elevation gain, you can expect to spend at least 4 hours.

This expedition starts at the Pantoll Campground and travels along the Matt Davis, Fern Creek, and Rock Spring Trails. The hike is rated moderate with some steep sections and stairs near the summit. Attendees are responsible for all park fees and their own transportation to the trailhead or designated parking lot. Optional trail lunches and snacks can be provided for an additional fee, any special dietary requests should be noted during the booking process.
