Hike through historical old-growth redwoods along coastal rain-forested trails as you visit Muir Woods National Monument. Stare in awe at the peaceful, majestic trees as you walk creekside through the shaded groves. Stop by the Visitor’s center, cafe, or gift shop along the way and make sure to read the informational signs strategically placed along your journey. For a total of 6 miles and nearly 1,400 feet of elevation gain, you can expect to spend at least 4 hours with an option to eat lunch inside the park.

This expedition starts at the Pantoll Station Parking Lot and travels along the Alpine, Bootjack, Ben Johnson, and Stapleveldt Trails. The loop inside the park includes the Bohemian and Cathedral Groves, the Pinchot Tree, and the Redwood Tree Slice. Attendees are responsible for all park fees and their own transportation to the trailhead or designated parking area. Optional trail lunches and snacks can be provided for an additional fee, any special dietary requests should be noted during the booking process. Attendees are responsible for any meals they wish to purchase at the Muir Woods Cafe.
